FEES AND PAYMENT
Fees cover uniforms, association/team/league registrations, equipment, and coaching.
12U: $550.00
13U - 18U: $575.00
Payment Schedule: Minimum $250 due at November 28th mandatory meeting. Remainder is due February 1st. A payment installment plan or scholarship can be arranged if need is justified, please contact Troy for information before the November 28th meeting.
Volunteer Fee: This is a $150 deposit required of all families to ensure their participation in Farmington-hosted tournaments throughout the year. At the end of the season, the deposit will be disposed of properly if volunteer time is met as determined by the Volunteer Coordinator. This will be explained further at the November 28th meeting.
OFFICIAL’S CLINIC
This is mandatory for all players. Dates TBD.
PRACTICES
Teams will practice two times per week unless told otherwise. Practices are mandatory unless they conflict with a scheduled school event. If players miss practice for other reasons, they should expect their play time at the next league game or tournament to be affected. Practice times and weekdays will be determined by coaches and announced at the November 28th meeting.
POWER LEAGUE AND TOURNAMENTS
Teams will play two Power League dates per month at a minimum. Local and away tournaments will be discussed at the November 28th meeting. Midwest Volleyball Warehouse posts the Northern Lights Power Leagues schedule at the following URL: http://www.midwestvolleyball.com

MISSION STATEMENT
Farmington Junior Olympic Volleyball Club is dedicated to providing players with quality training and higher-level competition. We aim to enhance both individual and team volleyball skills through practice, league play and tournaments. Our goal is to help foster life-long skills such as discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and sportsmanship in each player.
TEAM INFORMATION
Farmington Youth Volleyball expects to field five or six teams for the 2011-2012 season. Placement onto all teams is based on performance during tryouts as determined by coach evaluators. We may not be able to accommodate all players who try out for a team. Ideally, teams will be comprised of 10 players. Exceptions to this are at the coach’s discretion with the director’s approval.
Teams levels are as follows:
12's : typically girls in 5th and 6th grade
14's (13's): typically girls in 7th and 8th grade
16's (15's): typically girls in 9th and 10th grade
18's (17's): typically girls in 11th and 12th grade
The number of teams in each age group will be determined based on tryout registration volume.
