Girl's Middle School Overnight Lacrosse Camp

03/15/2012, 11:40pm (CDT)
By Kara Vier

Girl's Middle School Overnight Lacrosse Camp: Play your heart out for four full days of lacrosse instruction June 25th - 28th at the University of St. Thomas, in St. Paul. Girls will improve their skills, agility, and lacrosse comprehension.

Homegrown Lacrosse's approach is built upon four key elements: coaching attitude, approachability, authenticity, and fun. As part of this approach, it is important to create a positive, safe, and welcoming environment at all of our camps. Beyond that we strive to build their confidence, character and a sense of community among all of our participants. We want to help each player experience the importance of relationship building across the community as a whole, as well as the significance of sharing the passion of the game.

St Olaf Fall Clinics (Boys High School and Youth)

09/01/2011, 9:57pm (CDT)
By Ben Mayo

Dear Coaches and Administrators,

The St. Olaf Men's Lacrosse team will be hosting instructional clinics for local lacrosse players this fall, and we would like to invite players of your team or organization to participate. This camp was originally open to only youth players, but due to the high interest, we have decided to open it to high school players as well (players will be split according to age and skill). Each clinic will be one day only, for four hours. Because our primary goal is to help grow and develop local area lacrosse programs, we are charging only $40 per player. We understand this may seem low compared to other clinics and camps, but we want to make it affordable for as many families as possible. Be assured, we are committed to providing excellent, worthwhile instruction to each and every kid who attends (player coach ratio of 5:1).

I have attached a flyer outlining our program for you to take a look at.

It would be appreciated if you would pass this information along to your team (with the flyer) to help spread the word about our camp.

Feel free to check out our website page about the camp here, and registration here.

Thank you for your time, and please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
