Photos of FYBA players and teams are needed for the slideshow that will be produced for the end of the season FYBA celebration in March.
Carmen Fox is putting that slideshow together.
Teams should designate a parent to gather at least one game photo of every player, and at least one team photo. That parent can then submit their team's photos to Carmen via flash drive, CD or DVD. Photos should be high-resolution, 1MB or higher is best.
It is best to submit some photos in January or early February, or a final batch no later than March 9 for girls teams, and no later than March 12 for boys teams.
Please contact Carmen at slyfox1969@charter.net to arrange delivery of your team's photos to her.
Below are the the tournament schedules for the 2011 - 2012 basketball season. Please talk to your team coaches if you have any questions.

We have 22 teams for the 2011-12 season, from 3rd grade to 8th. It's our biggest year yet!
Our travel basketball program is designed to foster skills development throughout the season, and individual and team improvement from year-to-year. And to have fun along the way, win or lose.
Thank you for your participation and for your positive support of your son or daughter, their teammates, coaches, and the FYBA program.
Kevin Hunt, FYBA President
Note:
For additional context on the travel basketball experience, Farmington HS Boys Basketball Coach Shane Wyandt offered his advice to FYBA players, parents and coaches, in the short audio interview below. Click on the play arrow to listen to the clip.
Following the advice of Farmington HS Boys Basketball Coach Shane Wyandt and Farmington HS Girls Basketball Coach Sondra Chadwick, we also believe it's important to often schedule our teams in a higher division where they can be challenged.
That means a "C" could play some "B" tournaments and a "B" could play some "A" tournaments.
Each team's skills are assessed at the end of each season, at the start of each season (after tryouts to assess new players selected for a team), as well as throughout the first few tournaments, to make any adjustments in the initial assessment (like extremely lopsided losses).
The head coaches of the teams are consulted by the Boys and Girls Directors in this process.
In most cases, with our "Black" and "Orange" teams, for example, we do mix up their schedules to occassionally play at higher levels.
Unless we have a really strong "A" team which would always play "A." Or, a much weaker than usual "B" team, which would always play "B."
Below, Coach Wyandt and Coach Chadwick offer their perspective on "playing up" and its importance to their programs, down the road:
