2012 Spring Lacrosse Registration is Now Open
For the 2012 Spring Lacrosse season, FYLA is offering traveling boys lacrosse for players in 3rd through 8th grade and girls lacrosse for players in 4th through 8th grade. Spring league runs, generally, March-May. Practices will be at the Farmington schools Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Boys' games are on weekends and are played in a jamboree format with two-three games played back-to-back at the same site. Girls' games are on weekday evenings or weekend days.
Registration for spring league will be an online process again this year. An early-bird fee of $150 will run through January 31st. Effective February 1, registration for spring league will be $175. Registration will remain open until February 15th.

Lacrosse News
We have posted times for Lacrosse open gyms in February and March. Please check the Lacrosse calendar for open gym dates in case we cancel some of these gym times or if we change the location.
This is a great opportunity to do some pre-season stickwork and to get the rust out.
The Farmington Youth Lacrosse Board meets the second Monday of the month at the Farmington Legion at 6:30 pm.
Any youth lacrosse parent is welcome to attend and observe the meeting. If you would like to address the board with any question or concern feel free to attend any board meeting. It is preferable if you can email any board member or the board secretary ahead of time so we can get your item added to the official agenda.
We are once again selling discounted Swarm tickets this year. And, we are also doing the team tunnel again on March 30th.
Buy your tickets through FYLA and get them for only $22 each, and FYLA gets a small cut. See the Swarm tickets link on the left for more information
The FYLA Board will have our annual meeting on October 11th at 6:30 pm. The meeting will take place at the Farmington American Legion in the back room. When you enter the club, you will want to go to the right (dining room) rather than entering the main bar area. The Farmington American Legion is located on Highway 3 just north of town.
At this Annual meeting we will be voting for several new FYLA board members. Currently we expect to have voting for President, Vice President, Boys Director, Girls Director, and other board members at large.
If you have an interest in participating on the FYLA board and to influence our future growth and success, please contact a board member to discuss your interest.

Mission Statement
The Farmington Youth Lacrosse Association (FYLA) is a not-for-profit organization whose objectives are to encourage, promote, and foster the growth of lacrosse for the youth of Farmington and surrounding areas.
FYLA seeks to provide youth with a positive character building experience by honoring and respecting the sport and traditions of lacrosse.
FYLA will provide a quality lacrosse program that encourages sportsmanship, skill development, and friendly competition.
